Delighted to inform you all that I’ve been awarded “Youtube’s official Silver Play Button award” for crossing 1 Lakh subscribers mark on the channel “Youtube.com/user/TheMrunalPatel” – where we upload lectures for UPSC civil services and other competitive exams of India.

Award Citation

Dear Mrunal,
You’ve just done something very few YouTube creators accomplish: You had an astonishing 100,000 people subscribe to your channel. We know numbers on YouTube can get really big, but we hope you don’t lose sight of the reality behind that six-digit milestone. Each and every person who has subscribed to your channel was touched by what you did. They were inspired, or challenged, or entertained.

You made it to this milestone with hard work, perseverance, and chances are – a healthy sense of humor. What you’ve accomplished can’t be taken away from you. And we’d like to recognize you and all your hard work with this silver play button, a small token of our esteem and respect.

We know you don’t do this for rewards. You do it because you have a drive to create and share, and because you’ve found an audience who cares. Believe us when we say that we can’t wait to see what you do next. A million subscribers may seem a long way off right now, but you’re closer than you think. And we’re rooting for you.

Congratulations.

Sincerely,
Susan Wojcicki

Award Speech!

As such nothing unique or meritorious in this award- Anyone who crosses 1 lakh subscribers on YouTube- he/she is given this silver button –irrespective of whether you’re uploading Katrina Kaif’s item-songs or serious educational videos. Albeit, quite difficult to attract subscribers in the second category!

Therefore, on this occasion and for this achievement, I convey my thanks and congratulations to the faculty-team: Ms. Rajtanil Solanki (IRS), Mr. Pratik Nayak, Ms. Ishani Pandya (ICLS), Mr. Kavan Limbasiya (IRS) and Mr. Sunep Jamir for their lectures and contribution in establishing this channel.

I’m indebted to my teachers and mentors Shri VRS Cowlagi, Dr. Satish Vyas, Dr. Rohit Shukla, Dr. Kirtida Shah and Dr. Pinky Pandya because my teaching method is merely a replication of their techniques for mass-consumption, otherwise I don’t have any B.Ed/M.Ed/NET.

My colleagues, staff and associates – Mr. Chandra Deo, Mr. R.D. Trivedi, Mr. Brijesh Patel, Mr. S.Venkatakrishnan, Mr.Pradip Solanki, Mr. Mahendrasinh Dabhi, Mr.Mehul Rathod and Mr. Dipan Buch were instrumental in providing the timely help- both technical and moral- whenever I needed.

I thank Mr.Pranjal Singh, Mr.Palas Nuwal and Mr. G. Shivaram for their important role in the growth of the website when it was in a nascent stage.

And finally, my heartfelt thanks to the students of SPIPA & PDPU, readers of the website and subscribers of the Youtube channel, without whom this achievement was impossible!
– Mrunal
