You can stay at any place in Kuala Lumpur, but most expatriate like to stay at Ampang and Mont Kiara, a high demand prestige area. At this area the price for food is also 3X prices than normal.

In Malaysia, we have Indian town named Brickfields (also called Little India). Majority people here is Malaysia Indian. You may stay around there. Use this keword when browse internet “little india in kl”
