Operational Manager: Revenue Stream

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 plus three year degree / NQF level 7 in Accounting.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience.

• Understanding of accounts and supervisory experience.

IT & Data Manager: Systems Development

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 with relevant degree or higher diploma in Information Technology, with Statistics a preference. (NQF level 7).
• Minimum of three (3) years proven professional Information Technology experience including at least one (1) year in a management capacity and proven skills in:
• Database and systems development (MS Access, MS SQL Server & IBM DB2 UDB).
• Extensive knowledge of SQL.
• High degree of computer literacy.

• Microsoft. Net programming.

Accounting Officer

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 plus degree / NQF level 7 in Accounting.

• Three (3) years’ experience in related field.

Group Fleet Compliance Specialist

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 plus 3 three year degree / NQF level 7 in Fleet Management.Public administration and /or Law, unless the incumbent can demonstrate competence for the job through experience.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in high value contract management within a medium / large enterprise or government institution.
• Knowledge of Municipal Systems, Municipal Finance, Supply Chain Systems, and Project Management will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of computer packages i.e MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and Internet and SAP applications.

Personal Assistant

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 is required.
• Secretarial qualifications / Public Relations Diploma or Office Management Diploma (NFQ level 6).
• At least three (3) - five (5) years’ experience as Executive Secretary.
• Skills required: computer literacy and communication (verbal and written).

• A valid driver’s license may be an added advantage.

Administrative Officer

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 is required.
• A 3 year diploma in Administration would be an added advantage.
• One (1) - two (2) years’ experience in an administrative work environment would be an added advantage.
• Must be computer literate.
• Knowledge of systems.

• A valid driver’s license will be an advantage.

Frontline Assistant

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 is required.

• One (1) – two (2) years’ previous experience in working in a similar high impact environment.

Messenger

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 10 is required.
• Must be able to read and write.

• Skills required: communication.

Deputy Director: Community Based Planning

Educational Requirements and Experience

• A Public Administration Degree in management or planning or development or related discipline or commensurate qualification or experience / NQF level 7.
• Strategy conceptualization, development and design.
• Project management.
• Minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years’ relevant experience in management administration and planning within a large organization on management level in either the public or private sector.
• Knowledge of the policy framework of government.
• Sound knowledge of strategic planning and community development planning in the public sector, including principles and practices.

• Substantial strategic thinking, risk management and planning skills and experience together with the capacity to initiate or develop innovative solutions to complex, multi-faceted issues and problems.

Drive x 2

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (code EB).

• Three (3) years’ driving experience and relevant administration experience.

Assistant Director: Area Based Planning and Facilitation Design

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree / NQF level 7 in Town and Regional Planning or Urban Development Studies.

• Minimum of six (6) – eight (8) years in field of spatial and city planning.

Deputy Director: Convention Bureau

Educational Requirements and Experience

• Tertiary degree / NQF level 7 in Sales & Marketing / Business management.
• At least fi ve (5) years sales and /or business development experience within the Business events or related industries at a senior management level.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Sub Unit Head: Migration

Educational Requirements and Experience

• B Degree in Social Sciences / NQF level 7.
• At least five (5) years’ management experience in social development and/or migration integration environment.
• Knowledge of the legislation and protocol in the migration environment.
• Knowledge of equity and HR Policies of the City of Johannesburg.

• Must have a valid code 08 driver’s license.

Sub Unit Head: Performance, Monitoring and Reporting

Educational Requirements and Experience

• BA degree / NQF level 7.
• One (1) year Performance & Project Management Certificate.
• Five (5) years’ experience in Local Government Senior Management position.
• Five (5) years’ management experience in the development field.
• Knowledge of equity and HR Policies of the City of Johannesburg change management experience.
• Advanced computer skills required.

• Valid code 8 driver’s license.

The objective of an audit of financial statements is to express an opinion on whether the financial statements fairly represent the financial position of the auditee at financial year-end and the results of its operations for the financial year.

The Auditor-General can express one of the following audit opinions:

Clean audit outcome: The financial statements are free from material misstatements (in other words, a financially unqualified audit opinion) and there are no material findings on reporting on performance objectives or non-compliance with legislation.

Financially unqualified with findings: The financial statements contain no material misstatements. Unless the Auditor General expresses a clean audit outcome, findings have been raised on either reporting on predetermined objectives or non-compliance with legislation, or both these aspects.

Qualified audit opinion: The financial statements contain material misstatements in specific amounts, or there is insufficient evidence for the Auditor General to conclude that specific amounts included in the financial statements are not materially misstated.

Adverse audit opinion: The financial statements contain material misstatements that are not confined to specific amounts, or the misstatements represent a substantial portion of the financial statements.

Disclaimer of audit opinion: The auditee provided insufficient evidence in the form of documentation on which to base an audit opinion. The lack of sufficient evidence is not confined to specific amounts, or represents a substantial portion of the information contained in the financial statements.
